Amygdala Fire

This is a book of poetry.Born out of the grunge movement into a world of prescribed affective disorders that are collected like playing cards, Amygdala Fire represents my struggle to make sense of life as I seem to make every mistake possible. Thematically a large portion of this compendium is dark, sad, gloomy; an angry and bitter canopy that is occasionally pierced by glimmers of hope and salience that wink in and out of existence. I'm of the belief that sometimes it takes pondering and sitting with the ever pervasive darkness and futility of existence in order for one to truly appreciate the rarity of light speckled throughout the cosmos of our lives.
