Doctor Ramirez

Another phone call. A new email. Ever since Anna Fenwick, the female soccer legend, crossed paths with me due to her torn anterior cruciate ligament, I've been spending more time responding to the press than doing my job as a surgeon. It's an absolute nightmare, and she is... That woman is unbearable. I knew this could happen. Her constant run-ins with sports journalists and other teammates are well-known. I can understand that her bad temper has worsened with the serious knee injury. I imagine that, at the end of her career, she's afraid of never regaining the level she once had... but putting up with her is starting to be too much. And yet, each tiny glimmer of vulnerability in those blue eyes is enough to make me consider breaking the rules that have always governed my life.
