Technical Proceedings of the II Seminary on Scientific Writing Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering/UFPB

This booklet is a compilation of technical papers authored by students, professors, and collaborators of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Paraíba (PPGEM/UFPB). Each chapter was crafted for the II Seminar on Scientific Writing organized by the PPGEM/UFPB (II SEC/PPGEM) on December 10-11th, 2020. The II SEC/PPGEM initiative was founded upon three primary objectives: fostering scientific communication in the English language among PPGEM students, encouraging the creation of impactful and high-quality papers, and nurturing active learning through project-based activities. Broadly speaking, each chapter serves as a motivational element aligned with the innovative multidimensional assessment process led by CAPES/Brazil for impact of graduate programs across all fields of knowledge in Brazil. This volume comprises 11 chapters encompassing various domains of the mechanical sciences, including Dynamics and Control, Fabrication Processes, Thermal Sciences, Fluids, and interdisciplinary applications. While some chapters were composed in Portuguese, they are by no means considered dispensable for the community interested in these subjects.
